These Terms & Conditions apply to:

  • use of the Budget Tyre Outlet website,
  • all quotes, estimates, invoices, and bookings,
  • all goods and services supplied by Budget Tyre Outlet Pty Ltd and related trading entities (“BTO”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accepting a quote, making payment, authorising work, or receiving goods or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


1. General Information & No Advice Disclaimer

All information provided on our website, advertisements, social media, signage, or other materials is general information only.

Information provided does not constitute:

  • technical advice specific to your vehicle,
  • a guarantee of suitability or outcome,
  • a substitute for an in-store inspection or professional assessment.

Vehicle requirements, tyre specifications, wheel fitment, alignment needs, suspension condition, and mechanical issues vary by vehicle and use.

Final suitability is confirmed only following vehicle inspection or confirmation of specifications.

Customers must not rely solely on online or promotional content when making purchasing decisions.


2. Quotes, Estimates & Validity

2.1 Quote validity

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • After 30 days, pricing, availability, and specifications may change.

2.2 No stock guarantee

  • Quotes do not guarantee stock availability.
  • Stock levels are subject to supplier availability at the time of order.
  • Items may sell out or become unavailable without notice.

If stock is unavailable, we may:

  • offer an alternative product,
  • provide an updated quote, or
  • cancel the quote.

2.3 Indicative pricing

Quotes are based on information available at the time and may change due to:

  • supplier price changes,
  • freight or availability issues,
  • incorrect or incomplete vehicle details,
  • additional work identified after inspection.

3. Vehicle Details & Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information, including but not limited to:

  • make, model, year, variant,
  • tyre size, load rating, speed rating,
  • wheel specifications (PCD, offset, centre bore),
  • modifications affecting fitment.

We are not responsible for costs arising from incorrect information supplied by the customer.


4. Orders, Deposits & Special-Order Items

  • Deposits may be required to secure stock or bookings.
  • Items ordered specifically for a customer (non-stock or supplier-ordered to specification) are special-order items.
  • Once a special-order item is placed with a supplier, it cannot be cancelled or refunded for change of mind, unless required by law.

Supplier restocking fees, freight, and unrecoverable costs may apply to cancellations.


5. Tyres – Warranty & Limitations

5.1 Manufacturer warranty

  • Tyres are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty only.
  • Warranty claims are assessed by the manufacturer, not Budget Tyre Outlet.

5.2 What tyre warranties do not cover

Tyre warranties do not cover:

  • normal wear and tear,
  • punctures, road hazards, or impact damage,
  • incorrect inflation or misuse,
  • wheel alignment or suspension issues,
  • noise, ride comfort, or longevity expectations,
  • damage caused by vehicle condition or modifications.

Tyre life and performance vary based on driving style, road conditions, vehicle setup, and maintenance.


6. Mechanical Services – Warranty & Scope

6.1 Workmanship warranty

We provide a limited warranty on mechanical workmanship for services performed by us, subject to:

  • proper use of the vehicle,
  • routine maintenance,
  • no interference or repair by third parties.

6.2 Mechanical warranty exclusions

Mechanical warranties do not cover:

  • pre-existing faults or wear,
  • unrelated component failures,
  • normal wear items,
  • manufacturer defects in supplied parts (covered by manufacturer warranty),
  • damage caused by continued operation after a fault is identified.

Mechanical work may reveal additional issues that were not apparent prior to inspection.


7. Additional Work & Variations

If additional work is identified during inspection or repair:

  • we will seek approval where practicable,
  • failure to approve additional work may limit our ability to complete the original job safely.

We are not responsible for delays caused by awaiting customer approval.


8. Timing, Delays & Availability

  • Timeframes provided are estimates only.
  • Delays may occur due to supplier availability, staffing, equipment, or unforeseen issues.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control.

9. No Guarantees of Outcome

Unless expressly stated in writing, we do not guarantee:

  • tyre life or kilometres achieved,
  • noise levels, ride comfort, or fuel economy,
  • performance improvements,
  • avoidance of future mechanical issues.

10. Storage, Collection & Unclaimed Property

  • Vehicles or items must be collected promptly once work is completed or notification is provided.
  • Storage or handling fees may apply where permitted.
  • Uncollected or unpaid items will be dealt with strictly in accordance with applicable state or territory legislation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific goods or services giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use, income, or business.

This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.


12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where goods or services fail to meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy as provided by law.


13. Website Use & Content

Use of our website is at your own risk.

We do not warrant that website content is error-free, current, or suitable for your specific circumstances.


14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state or territory in which the supplying Budget Tyre Outlet entity operates.


15. Acceptance

Acceptance of a quote, authorisation of work, or payment of an invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
